Physics Rocket Project October, 2012

​​I was very proud of myself for finishing this project. Last time I did this project was back in ninth grade, and I couldn't even get the fins to stay on my rocket body. The day of the  rocket launch was very exciting and scary. I had never launched a rocket before, and I was nervous because I was not sure if it was going to work. I enjoyed watching everyone else launch their rocket. When my turn came, I slipped my rocket onto the launch pad. Thats  ​when Newton's first law came in. My rocket was at rest, and then the motor started and it pushed my rocket upwards. Then my rocket accelerated up as gravity pushed down, which is Newton's third law. For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. After a few seconds, my rocket started spiraling down towards Earth.
